The Thirty-Seven Practices of a Bodhisattva, written in the 14th century by Gyatsal Thogme Zangpo, is one of the most widely taught Mahayana texts in Tibetan Buddhism. Its thirty seven short verses present powerful and pithy instructions on how we can work with our hearts and minds in whatever our situation might be, and discover our potential for true compassion and wisdom. Both beginners and long time practitioners on the spiritual path can find helpful advice and inspiration in these teachings.

Date : 14 – 15 January, 2017 (Two Days)

Time: 6 Teaching Sessions in Total, 3 Sessions per day
(Session 1) 10:30am – 12:00n
(Session 2) 2:00pm – 3:30pm
(Session 3) 4:00pm – 5:30pm

Venue: Olympic House J.C. Lecture Theatre
(No. 1 Stadium Path, So Kon Po, Causeway Bay, HK)

Teachings will be conducted in English with Mandarin Translation

About Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen

Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen is a close student of Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche, and has served many years at Rinpoche’s side and completed a three year retreat in Nepal under Rinpoche’s guidance. Acharya Lama Tenpa was also one of the first students to graduate with an Acharya degree (Master of Buddhist Studies) from Karma Shri Nalanda Institute of Rumtek Monastery, His Holiness Karmapa’s main seat in Sikkim, India. Since completing his studies and training at the monastery, he has been teaching tirelessly around the world. From 1997 to 2004, Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen was the resident teacher at His Holiness Karmapa’s center Theksum Tashi Chöling in Hamburg, Germany. In addition, Lama Tenpa has been one of the main teachers for Nitartha Institute and Nalandabodhi since 1998. Lama Tenpa is well known for his sharp insight, sense of humor, and clear understanding of the busy environment and psychology of our modern way of life.
